Watchpup runs on a serverless edge platform: the same system serves this page and runs your checks, so there's one caveat we won't hide — if Watchpup were completely down, this page wouldn't load either. Short of that, the numbers are real: the check loop records every cycle it completes, and this page compares that against the one-cycle-per-minute schedule. "Checks run" counts actual outbound probes (HTTP, TCP, TLS, DNS, domain); heartbeat evaluations are passive and not counted.
